| When the weather turns slightly bad, all the drivers throw their brains out of the window or something?? This morning I wake up and theres no pretty sunrise, no clear sky, it is overcast and dark, it hasn't rained yet... however I'm driving down to work, and people are just being stupid! I am used to people being silly when it rains, but it hadn't even rained yet! People just doing stupid things.. grrr its so annoying! Just use the same brains you use when its sunny! AND its so freaking cold here in Pukekohe, my tits feel like they are going to freeze off! | ||||

| Um, excuse me, but since when did Auckland drivers ever have brains? :P Nah, some people (OK, make that a lot of people) just have no concept of driving to the conditions. They simply don't realise that driving on a wet road is, like, totally different to a dry road. If it wasn't for the innocents that they are likely to take out with their stupidity, I'd say let the buggers die - Darwin had the right idea ![]() Survival of the fittest | ||||

| As something of a career pedestrian (sort of), it has never failed to amaze me that drivers, if anything, seem to drive faster in the rain. Huh? What, you're afraid to get your car wet? I dont get it. | ||||
| ||||
| I don't get it either, they tend to drive faster, and they cut in front more, and they are less decisive trying to change lanes at the last minute. I just don't get it, whenever it rains (or as this morning proved looks like it might rain) everyones driving goes silly! (Except mine ofcourse! :P) | ||||

| I'm a career pedestrian too (no car, no licence) and I find it amusing to see cars stuck in traffic and the drivers getting their daily dose of road rage. I've seen two accidents in the past week both caused by impatient drivers. | ||||

| I don't have a licence by choice. I had my learners a while back but never got any further than that. My driving instructor put me off for good. Also the death of a very close friend (basically my other brother) really spun me out (he killed himself drink driving) and I haven't tried again since then. | ||||
| ||||
| I only got my full drivers license last year, it took me 6 years to get it, I didn't get my learners until I was 18, then just slowly from there. I could have been a pedestrian all my life, but I like the freedom I have with my car. I couldn't do half the things I do without driving (namely getting to work each day). However if I could use Public transport to get to work I would. Having spent allot of time using public transport I have no worries about it, but its just not a viable option to get from Manukau to Pukekohe each day. | ||||

| Chalk another one up for "career pedestrians" (through choice also). I just don't trust myself out there. Can you imagine me behind the wheel? I'd be like I was in an arcade. ...and you know I'm talking Crazy Shuttle here not Tetris. | ||||
