Default What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be the owner of a cattery.

Then I wanted to be a nurse (until I saw what they actually did).

Then I wanted to be a teacher (until I realised that I'd end up teaching someone like me and I didn't really want to have to deal with that).

Then I wanted to be a marine biologist (but I didn't take any Sciences in school)

So what did I do?

I went to Technical College after I left High School and studied business. Which bored me to tears so I left Tech after a term and started working.

Seriously though, I was just talking about this with my friend tonight and I've always wanted to be an Archeologist...more specifically, an Egyptologist. I absolutely love the Nile valley and it's mysteries and one day I want to visit there, if not as a Egyptologist then definately as a tourist, but go I will go

It certainly is an interesting subjet. My mum has a book called "Vanished Civilisations" - it is rather big and has a lot of writing but it's quite fascinating.

I'd like to visit Egypt some day too. Also the ruins of Pompeii.

I wanted to be a nurse, Mum told me all about the blood and guts and stuff and that was all fine, and then she told me I'd have to wipe old ladies bottoms, and that put me off...

Then I wanted to be a fireman.

I wanted to be a truck driver

But since I lost my licence 3 years ago for speeding, no one likes to take you on if you have any previous tickets as the insurance is way to high

To be honest when I was 16 / 17 I didn't think that I would make it past 25.

I wanted to be an Architect. I got as far as a certificate in architectural studies and that was it
