It's my work Christmas party tomorrow but I'm not going.

Kall and I are heading up to Wellsford on Sunday to see the opening of an exhibition at the Albertland Museum that my Mother has been putting together. They're showing a bunch of photos that my Great Grandfather took way way way back in the day. Then we're going to visit my Gran's farm then head back to Auckland.

It wasn't totally free this year $25 per person (you could invite your partner but had to pay $25 for them too). That would give you 5 drinks per person only. I prefer going to my Department Christmas party ... everything is free all night (well, until the tab runs out).

We charge for our christmas parties too... but its run by the social club, the company puts some money into it, its $20 per head, but you get $15 of drinks for each ticket, and so thats quite good. And I am organsiing it, so its going to be a blast haha.

I've been selling myself as entertainment, cos people started say "oh yeah last year you had a blast, I'll come" so I started telling everyone "I'll be there and thats a sight to see" haha.

Wow, last place I worked the company took us out on a day trip boat cruise around the sounds, provided bbq onboard, beer and wine and partners were invited as well.

His (my ex) company set up a huge marquee every year providing music, huge bbq, beer, wine, spirits AND all sorts of childrens entertainment as kids were invited too.
