Default The Weekend

What did everyone do this past weekend?

Kall and I went to a birthday dinner at Tanuki's Cave (a Japanese restaurant in Queen St) which was nice ... quite different and then to a friends farewell party.

The weather was sooooo good and hot ... very cool ... yay that summer is coming

*asks why*

you should have done what I did.. I went and watched everyone elses money go up in smoke. Do they have strict rules bout them there? like here we don't get double happy's, or bangers anymore, or skyrockets, some people say its just not guy fawkes without them... I don't really know mum never brought them anyway.

That's just the thing. I don't have money to spend on crap like that
I dunno about rules, but the SPCA has some trouble with people abusing animals with fireworks over here.

I'd tell you about the cases i've read about in the papers but it'd be too shocking.

I'd say we get the same mr Fenix, I haven't heard any stories yet this year, but then again I hardly have heard any news recently so I wouldn't nessecarily have heard.

AHEM!

Back on topic, surprisingly I did the same as Sparklechick.

The japanese food was just as it was described on Red Dwarf - Holoship - Small portions but many many courses.

The 20 cloves of grilled garlic were quite tasty, as were the 'Crispy balls with Tentacles'. I couldn't finish them all..."Would anyone like to try one of my balls?"

I love garlic but not quite to that extreme.

I did let him sleep on far far far far on his side of the bed though

well penny already knows what i got up to...boating round the sounds from friday till monday morning.

had awesome weather, went swimming, ate at ferneaux lodge in the evenings. got scared by a stingray and had to swim to shore instead of back to the boat, stingray turned out to be an old net or something....grrr. kids fished and caught blue cod and it was...muah! devine! (that man of mines quite handy in the kitchen i must say )

this morning went out for brunch, went shopping (yes my weekend has only just ended...lol!). thursday off to auckland to look at boats.
