This is the 3rd day in a row that the boys upstairs have played the same repetitive bassy music over and over and over for hours.

I wouldn't be overly upset if it was Hendrix or Led Zep, but no, it's Homey Crap (my definition of anything hip-hop like).

So. I am finally fighting back.

I would just put my music on. Not so loud that it's obvious that you're trying to retaliate but enough to drown out their garbage and hopefully make them think about how loud their music is.

I'd just ask them to turn it down, they might not realise it is bothering you.

If that doesn't work I'd try playing my own music back real loud, something they wouldn't like.

And if that doesn't work I'd see if the coucil or building owners (body corp??) can do something about it.

Otherwise put up with it.
