| heh, have just succumbed to the deal, and traded in an old crappy nokia phone and just received my sparkly new hyandai fliptop ( camera) phone to go with Telecom. Love new toys and still have my prepaid alcatel phone to txt as I have heard it is a problem getting txt messages from England on Telecom is this true? Anyways what would be your choice? | ||||

| My choice is cost based. In the UK, where I am a member of a forum although I live in the US, the price for download is about $% per meg. I design code for web sites. For my site, i have been planning a WML release of about a thousand biz locations. Some have graphics and for now I will not be sending the graphic. So, my big restriction is cost. Then I do not have any cell phones. There are maybe 20 providers in the bay area and all have some strange twist to their offer. I hope the telephone works wonders for you. They are certainly the future. Peace | ||||

| Vodafone definitely. ![]() Coz I work for them ![]() | ||||

| Vodafone, cos Telescum suck, and I'd rather only have to give them as much as I am currently forced to do, due to their monopoly on the physical Lines that voice and are transmitted over. If someone was to do something wireless, or over the power lines or something, and carry voice reliably, Telecom would be forced to re-think their current greedy ways. | ||||

| Have you looked into Wired Country Kall? They do voice over their radio network, Ihug are currently the only voice providers, but theres another one coming soon, or so they told us on Friday. | ||||

| Also, I like Vodafone, mostly because they are not telecom. I don't know about texting from Telecom to overseas. But I think telecome might stop getting some customers now Vodafone does their monster talk plan thing. That gives you more texts. | ||||
