Discuss Is talking to yourself really the first sign of Madness?? in the General Discussion forums; If so I am mad as anything this morning... Just walking round the office nattering to myself... SAD really!...

If so I am mad as anything this morning...

Just walking round the office nattering to myself... SAD really!

Nothing wrong with the action of talking to yourself, you're more likely to make sense to yourself than anyone else will. I was more helping you out with your concern about it.

Penny, sometimes the most intelligent conversation you can have are with yourself. I am proud to say that I talk to myself. I make great conversation. I also talk to the cat - she's a bit harder to understand.

I didn't realise that talking to the cat was classed in the same area!! man I've bene going nuts for ages...

I reckon the cat is the best companion to talk to! I can say anything to her and she just sits there and takes it. Its great!
