Got my first lot of sunburn for this half of the year the other day. Was sitting out on the verandah at my Gran's place reading a book, didn't even think about the sun. After about half an hour I saw that my arms were going red. Went in and put suntan lotion on but the damage was already done.

It's getting itchy now.

Oh man... I am soooooo jealous... not so much about the sun burn, but that you were in the sun to get burnt!

It was the shortest week of my life! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and totally relaxed. My Gran's place has a way of completely relaxing you when you are there. No traffic, just lots of tranquility ... and a darned big verandah to laze about on.

Yeah they both enjoyed me being there. I took up quite a lot of alcohol as well which Mum and I tucked into ... I think my Mum just needed someone to talk to (other than my Gran).
