| Have you ever misplaced something and you absolutely KNOW where it is but you just can't locate it? I drove myself nuts trying to find the mayonnaise. I pulled the fridge apart looking for it - even Kall looked for it and we STILL couldn't find it. I gave up looking and put "mayonnaise" on the shopping list. A couple of days letter I decided to get some chocolate milk and what was hiding behind the 1 litre chocolate milk bottle? Yup ... the mayonnaise. *shakes fist at self* | ||||

| I know just how you feel. With me it's keys. Can't stand those "whistle and I'll answer" key fobs, though. ... Can't whistle LOL. Still ain't found my cheque book. | ||||

| Perhaps we need to market the 'NZB Thing Finder'. I don't have a firm idea on what exactly it will be, but it will find things, that I do know. | ||||

Just hope I don't loose that one before I find the first.

| I do this all the time... I lose things within seconds of putting them down..... but then I have an 21 month old daughter who helps me to "lose" these things a lot of the time lol | ||||

| Kall loses things too. Then I go to find them and they are quite easy to see; ie sitting right in front of him. I call it having a *mans looks* for something. It actually means he doesn't look at all, just scans the room quickly before deciding that it isn't there. | ||||

My father and I are exactly the same. We can take turns looking for "it" in all the most likely places "it" could be. First we try where we think "it" is supposed to be. Then we look in all the places we "put things away". After that we look in all the places we "put things down". Finally, my mother looks in the place we both looked in the first place and *presto* it's there.

Did you really have to post that? Now I can't get the image of an old woman's... you know, thing, out of my mind. *shudders*

| I don't carry a purse much for this very reason. If I take a purse in with me somewhere it is very likely that I will leave it there. I once left my purse in the cart at the grocery store after loading my groceries in the car. Luckily, whoever saw it there turned it in and my cell phone was inside. A short while later my mom got a call that my purse had been left at the grocery store so she came over and told me (luckily she lives about a minute from me). When I went back to pick it up they told me that it happens often and the first thing they do is look for a cell phone because you can always guarantee that there will be a "mom" or "dad" listed in the phonebook. | ||||
