Default A quote from Shrub and the weeds

I have heard that Shrub is on anti depressant. Lets hope he does not discover Viagra.

Sky news over the weekend were showing a few of his blunders ... it really was quite comical but also rather scary considering the position he's in.

Of course did you here Ben Affleck (I think it was) talking about voting for Kennedy (rather than Kerry) ... I don't think anyone noticed though.

Default Re: A quote from Shrub and the weeds

Shrub has demonstrated his "presidential side". His lack of comprehension is amazing.

Another item but associated. The Movie, "The American President". Michael Douglas is the president and Anette Benning is his girlfriend.

At one point Libya attacks and destroys some American equipment in Israel. Naturally, the military is pressing for a military reply. The ministry of defense is chosen and the least number of people are janitors on the night shift.

So he gives the go ahead.

An hour later, one advisor is saying how presidential this act was and Douglas stops him, saying.

"In Tripoli, some janitor on the night shift is sitting down to have his lunch. Not knowing that an hour from now he will die in an explosion that I ordered and hour ago."

"No, it is the least presidential thing I do."

I will be happy to have a president that cares about life. I would question the present one.
