| The other day, I was returning the dvd's to the video ezy in Manukau, drove in parked, dropped the dvd's off then was driving out again, when this person came screaming up the driveway, and had to slam on her brakes so not to hit me, and then I was like, woah... and I looked and she was going "****". I was like, I'm here and your screaming in and you almost hit me, and you think you need to say "****"! I was so already annoyed but she saw me in time to stop, but that just annoyed me more. If anyone knows Manukau, the video ezy is stuck in this little corner and there isn't much room to move, and so you have to move slowly around incase someone is around the corner. It got me to thinking, and noticing other peoples actions on the road, often I am in situations where I think people could be a wee bit more curteous. I try to be, I let people in and if someone is waiting to turn right and I am in a big line, I will leave a gap so if the otherside is clear they can go through. | ||||

| I get really pissed off about drivers who don't stop at pedestrian crossings. Pedestrians have just as much right on the road (on crossings) as cars do. Some people are just in too much of a hurry to get where they want to be to slow down for pedestrian crossings - it really makes me angry! I'm sick of having to jump out of the way of tard drivers who won't stop at crossings. Sparklechick's bleat over As you were | ||||

| Damn straight Sparkle. I was crossing at the K Rd/Ponsonby corner the other day, and the little green dude started blinking red while I was still crossing. Some 60+ old guy immediately floored it and went round the corner, narrowly missing me. Traffic was backed up ahead so he had to stop right in my path. Without a word I pointed my finger straight at him and gave him my evillest look. He immedately freaked out and started screaming at me "It was red, it was red!". I just laughed and kept going. Best reaction out of so little effort I've had yet. Another time I was walking to work and some guy had a green crossing signal, and the cars that would turn across him had a red arrow. Some woman went to drive through the arrow into him and he did much the same, except he yelled "STAY! SIT! STAY!" at the top of his lungs. The effect was hilarious, I think she had a bit of a sob to try and recover. As you can see, much like both of you I have zero sympathy for poor drivers. | ||||
