cPanel is something which you get with your web hosting Penny. It basically slaps everything from uploading your files to your site, to setting up e-mail accounts, to setting up ftp accounts, etc. into one page-setup.

Sounds exciting. I like that sorta stuff... We use somethign like that at home, but well umm I'm not allowed to touch stuff at home except to do basic stuff Something to do with that whole technology aganist me thing! hahaha

Very very manually.

A friend of mine wrote some website management software: http://exorsus.net .. it worked fine for me, but god damn! Cpanel is like going from black and white soundless movies to the first scene of Final Destination 2 on a massive movie screen.

Just look standard to me. You should ask your friend to look into getting Fantastico. If he doesn't know the URL, I'd be glad to provide it

Cpanel is good... but I personally prefer (and use) H-Sphere (www.hsphere.com) I think its easier to use than Cpanel, and from a web-hosts perspective, its better in the long run for running servers

CPanel is ok, bit muddled though. As far as web admins go though it does the job reasonably well. Bit annoying how it forces you to prepend your DB and usernames with your username though.

I actually thought you were offering CPanel on sparkle hosting already.

How much does a CPanel license cost the host/provider?
