Don't forget I spent 8 years growing up in Canada The only good things I have in this country are family and friends. The country itself sucks ass, government sucks too bwah ![]() Hey is Auckland a nice city? Lot's to do? Good weather? Economically healthy? What kind of internet connections can you get there? ![]() Last edited by *ZenithalRavage*; 28-Jan-2005 at 06:59 AM.

| I don't think that anybody thinks their government is good. I've never heard anyone say "Wow man our countries government is the best!" As for Auckland, Auckland is alright, having grown up in Wellington I still like Wellington better, but I have been in Auckland for many years now, and yes there is plenty to do, and to understand the weather go and listen to the song "4 seasons in one day", it prettymuch sums it up. Theres a wide range of internet connections you can get from dial up, to ADSL, to radio wireless connections, take your pick. | ||||

Besides that, It feels too crowded here from which you can hardly escape. So little space it drives me nuts. Traffic jams plague the entire country more and more. Our borders have been very open to import workers for many decades, they're starting to close a bit now but it's too late. Very high number of unintegrated immigrants here, sucking the social security system dry. sorry for ranting here ![]()

Oh no, you stay over there. ![]() Just kidding. New Zealand is renowned for its natural beauty. You often have to leave the city to see any of that though. There's not much to commend us other than that sadly. Move to somewhere like Fiji.

| Moving to Auckland isn't the key to get out of the traffic! We have one of the worst traffic jamming problems in the world. However the other centres of NZ aren't quite so bad. But if you really want space etc theres heaps of places in NZ that offer space, Auckland is getting more and more cluttered, and the housing is moving closer and closer together its driving me nuts. Some poeples kitchens look directly into other peoples bathrooms. I hear Great Barrier Island is good for the whole traffic/space issues ![]() Crime prevention, I understand that compared to some parts of the world its quite good, however there are still allot of people that think our offenders are getting out on Parole way to early, and re offending, and that some sentences are not long enough. However the people that are loudest are people who are victims of a crime, either by being a family member or a victim themselves, no amount of time is going to seem like a fair amount to them. but thats really a whole other discussion. | ||||

![]() Remember, our country is 1/8th the size of NZ and has 4 times the population!! Distances are very short, but the time it costs to cover them is sometimes ridiculous. Thanx for all that info guys. Hey you guys drive on the left side of the road don't you? Is it easy importing a Nissan Skyline to NZ heheh ![]() Quote:
