Arcade-lympics

Come and join in the fun, in an Arcade competition!

This thread is designed to explain how it will work and for you to register your interest. Post in here if you want to play Arcade-lympics. You need to post in here to tell me by 1pm 19th August(NZ Time)

Once we have sorted the teams, a thread will be created telling you what game and when the challenges need to be completed by.

This thread will stay in Chit Chat, any future threads regarding the Arcade-lympics will be in the Gamers Forum.

Rules and information

• Players will be sorted into teams
• A different game will be played for each round
• Each member of each team plays each member of the other team in each round
• If there are more than 2 teams, teams will play off against one other team in each round
• Games to be played through the arcade challenge system, so we can track who wins what
• You have three days to complete all the challenges for each round
• Points are awarded to the team, 2 points for each win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss
• The team with the least amount of points votes off a member of their team
• You are given 1 day to cast your votes (Pm'd to Penny) before the next round starts
• It continues in this pattern until there is just one person left standing at the end

As with all competitions, Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into (Judge = Judge Penny)

A Medals & Prizegiving Ceremony will be held on completion of the competition

• Gold - 50 000 points
• Silver - 25 000 Points
• Bronze - 10 000 Points
