Default Neoprene

I was walking home from work like you do when, for no apparent reason, my ankle collapsed underneath me and was sprained rather badly.

This was about ten minutes from home and I had no phone with me so I decide to ignore the pain, focus through the white out, and walk the rest of the way.

The bastard swelled up like a balloon.

I spent about half an hour with my foot in a bidet of cold water and the rest of the night on the sofa with it up on cushions.

By then it had swollen to such an extent that it had become immobalised.

The next day, I was determined to go into work.
There was no way I was going to pull a sickie especially as I have two days booked off next week.

In my lunch hour I went to the drug store and bought a neoprene compression support.

This thing is actually comfortable in an odd sort of way.

It squeezes tightly from all sides while trapping heat and moisture.

I could get used to this.

The drug store only sells these things for major joints but you can get full body suits from the sex shop.

What do you think?

Are you into bondage?

Would you recommend it?

Erm, perhaps the last part of this thread should be in Nasty?

Anyhoooo ... so it's doing the job okay? The swelling is going down? I don't know if we have that sort of thing in NZ. Never really needed it. Well I did actually need something like that once, after a dancefloor accident, someone spilt their drink and I twisted my ankle when I slipped on it - I was soooo tanked up though that I didn't really notice the pain and kept going until the wee smalls of the morning. At about 4.00am I decided it was time to go home and noticed my ankle was a bit sore. The next morning I woke up and I could barely move it. I certainly couldn't walk on it. I had absolutely no sympathy from my boyfriend at the time so I just had to grin and bear it.
