Default Most entertaining presentation...

SO I have been requested to do a presentation at this user group meeting (all these GIS geeks from around the country get together and discuss stuff) about what we have been doing. They like everyone to do one.

The e-mail said "A prize will be given to the most entertaining presentation"

hahaha GIS is hardly entertaining, I mean what do they want us to do?? I can see it now..

Dim the lights
start the disco ball
Cue Music...

Penny starts an all dancing all singing show about what Counties Power has been doing in GIS for the last year!

And the Prize.. probably a corporate t-shirt or something!

Stand.

Facing the audience

Wave your arms in circles

Start slow

Build up speed

then step on a battery switch and light a bulb on top of your head.

Then start the Muppet song. Light the lights. Start the music.

One of two things will happen. 1. The give you the prize. 2. They have you commited

hahaha, I'm thinking, knowing what these GIS men are like (Sorry if anyone else is a GIS male..) They would go for option number 2.

GIS men?
I only know of 2 GIS operators (one is here and the other is with the Waitakere City Council) and both are women.

BTW, if you have a woman from WCC attending your show and tell then private message me and I will give you a couple of names to drop

Yeah they are mostly men ususally. Maybe that is the Smallworld ones anyway. I go to these user group meetings and I am the only female there or there might be one or two others. Actually I shouldn't get started on what I think about NZ GIS men!

But its good to know there are some other GIS women out there!
