| Best just to stay away I reckon. Went to St Lukes yesterday. It was a nightmare. There were several cases of parking rage and more than one parking spot was stolen by someone when someone else was waiting for it. As for the mall itself. It was just nasty. I made a total error and went into KMart. Bad bad bad idea. Of course it wouldn't have been so bad if the checkout counter girl wasn't new to the job. I just wish that parents would leave their kids behind. I saw a couple with two kids (in pushchairs) and a trolley and another kid and the kids were going NUTS. I bought what I needed and made a hasty retreat never to return to St Lukes until well after Christmas. | ||||

| Botany is the place to go, St Lukes is usually bisy ayway, I vowed never to go back, I went yesterday, went and parked up the top, theres not many parking spaces, BUT its never more than a couple of minutes before someone pulls out, and walah parking place, and then everyone is spread out, and the cock and bull do nice food... I've never had a problem so you wont be in the same situation as that either ![]() | ||||

| I've only been to Botany once and that was when it first opened. It was crap. The foodhall hadn't opened yet and the only place to eat was a coffee shop thing that was way overpriced and had queues of people out the door. I found the place was way too spread out and you had to walk miles to get from shop to shop. It's probably changed since then though I would think. | ||||

| Nah its good, I always enjoy my shopping trip at Botany, find that the shops are grouped with similarlties, and so you can skip huge parts if those shops don't fancy you. I never tend to eat there, cept at the cock and bull maybe, lots of cafes dotted all over now, and they have the library there now which is good, and the movies open in december sometime. | ||||

| The local news did a mall after Tlhanksgiving thing. Five...Four .... etc. Enough to make me gag. Many holidays have been invented by retail marketing to create the image of "my present is more better than yours" syndrome. It is just a lot of BS. A quick and true story. Back in the '60s Picasso sent out some hand drawn cards. One woman upon getting one commented, "With all his money, seems he could at least BUY some cards". The cards go for BIG bucks at auction. And then only rarely. This is not a reproduced card. Each are really done by him. I think the term Dame Edna might use is , "Oh, what a cow." | ||||
