I have a really stupid "magic trick" I show nursery school kids (2.5 to 4 years).

Hold up both hands. With 2 fingers on each hand extended and the others folded down. Hold them high so all can see there are two on each hand extended.

Now place the hands behind your head. Extend one more finger on one hand and fold a finger on the other.

Now show that the extended fingers are magically "transferred". It usually takes them about 5 seconds to figure it out.

Perfect analogy to the transfer of power.
