I don't know if someone here is a fan of the movies or knows anything about the tours to the lotr filming sites. I tried to check online and see if there is a detailed description of like how many sites you get to visit, or what it is exactly that you see, just stuff like that. Anyone know the details?

Umm there are definitley tours. There is also a book you can buy that tells you where they all are etc.

Has the LOTR fever died down around the world yet?

I don't think its died down anywhere...

We went to ST Lukes yesterday and had a quick look arund in this shop, and they were making this huge LOTR model set. Its like some war thingi game i don't know exactly, I just walked around and went "ah yeah not girly enough for me!" hehe

Geez, girls. Can't tell the difference between Warhammer and LOTR.

If your pile of orcs is called the Waauuugh, it's Warhammer. However if your uruk-hai are human crossbreeds, it's LOTR. Talk about needing to state the obvious.

Next you'll be trying slip in a few forest elves with your high elves. It's not like such a dire transgression would go unnoticed.

Dude, I spent long enough in the shop to see that what they were making a LOTR model thing, but all the other things in the shop were that warhammer stuff.

But it was like a LOTR version of it.

or maybe it was called something else altogether... nah it was warhammer I think. who cares, as Kall said, Nerds, haha.

i think u can still visit hobbiton ie matamata it costs a bit though.
