I felt the threads of late have been pointless or lacking... partly due to people being busy @ work and things I think, including myself.

SO I went and looked on Stuff to find something to discuss, and there were articles on Trout season opening, some ladies in hats for some kind of race day, Geoge Bush and Mr Kerry (not really what I was looking for) and how the world almost ended but didn't quite.

So that came up with nothing I felt particularly like discussing, so tell me... whats on your mind at the moment?

Anything happening in the world you just want to bitch about?

James Lipton has used this questionnaire by Bernand Pivot on his guests at The Actor's Studio and I am always curious what pple will say. Funny how we pple like the same things underneath it all, and how something we tolerate, can be utterly detested by another.

My fav word is compassion......It gives us the power to act and if we all were it would be a wonderful world.

Least--Abusers......I hate seeing someone administer suffering to another.

What turns me on--optimisim/undying hope......gets me moving.

What turns me off--self-rightiousness/arrogance....means unwillingness to grow

Sound/noise I love--laughter between people who love one another...just makes me happy.

Sound I hate--someone crying from a broken heart...really tags at my heart.

Profession I would love--Painter...I feel there is something they see in our world that I don't!

Bad profession for me--Executioner...I am Anti- the death penalty.

What I want God to say when we meet--You did great by me, and the good Proffesor is waiting for you.

1. banana becuase its it fun to spell

2. hate - people use it all too often without thinking about its true meaning

3. Turn on - music, like playing a musical instrument or something, I don't know what it is, just is.

4. Turn off - Snobbiness/self righteousness/not listening

5. Sound I love - Waves on the beach, just reminds me nature more powerful than any human invention

On my mind today is the fact that a whole bunch of crap is raining down on me at the moment and I'm not letting it bother me.

I am looking toward the positive stuff in my life and just dealing with the crap as it comes along.

I have to go and stay with my Mum for a week shortly. She looks after my 92 year old Grandmother on the family farm and is just about ready to have a breakdown with all the family stress that's going on at the moment (I won't get into specifics but lately they've had to deal with death, near death, divorce etc etc etc). My Mum is really starting to feel the strain so I'm going up there to stay for a while and help out. My Gran is really interesting to talk to so I'm quite looking forward to forgetting about the bullshit that's going on at work right now and settling into hearing some really interesting stories.
