| Joseph Wilson is a former diplomat from the US State department. His specialty was and is Africa and the mid east. Last evening he was on a local talk show about an anti Bush book he wrote. When it is available in NZ, you will be amazed at the candor of the author. His wife works for the CIA and was a spy master. She ran networks in several countries. When Wilson told Bush there was no Uranium purchases made by Iraq from Niger, one of the pillars of the invasion, the Bush administration "outed" his wife as a spy. This endangered her and since the public has no information about her networks, may or may not have endangered the agents. The book is "The Politics of Truth". Since the beginning of the Iraq talk of war, I have followed this closely. We do not all walk in lockstep with our president. Peace | ||||

![]() It sounds like an interesting book. I think you need to becareful that it isn't just an anti-bush thing and has had the truth embellished. I mean if Bush can strech the truth so can other people! I like to see different sides to stories etc, as there is always more than what we are allowed to hear. However I think that there will be some people who did vote for Bush, who are now regretting that decision. It happens everywhere tho'. I think people just have to hope it is different at the next election. Its funny you post this as I was just discussing the whole Bush/Iraq well it turned into this big discussion on how glamourous they make war sound, and how they "forget" to mention some things like the fact you might have to shoot another person when they are trying to get people signed up into the army. But thats a whole other discussion! | ||||
