I know it's wrong to skite but I'm so excited!

I get to get away from all the and get to go and spend a whole week in warm Fiji!

It's only the 2nd time I've ever and my first time out of NZ.

(Yes, you read it right, I'm pretty sad and have (so far) lived a very sheltered life)

We fly on Sunday... yay!

Have any of you been tropical in the last wee while? Going soon? Wishing you could?

Well, actually... I am flying to Sydney tomorrow.

Not quite Tropical, but it's the first time I have been out of the country for a few years.

Went to Sydney in March - never been before and years since been overseas. Stayed Darling harbour was great and loved the Paddys Market

I haven't been overseas for a while - last trip was to Melbourne with my ex-flatmate, it was fantabulous.

Fiji is absolutely blissful - I would go there every year for a holiday if I had the money!

Oh man it was amazing!
It was 29 degrees the whole time, I got a tan, learnt to snorkel, had a hour-long full-body massage on the beach.... bliss!
And our room was serviced every day - no making the bed or changing the sheets!

Now my BF and I are seriously considering an Island Wedding... well, we are as soon as I get a ring.... haha

Whereabouts did you stay Lina?

When I went I stayed at the Shangri La or The Fijian. It was very nice. It was all paid for though coz I was on a work trip so even better when it's free!

We stayed on Malolo Lailai Island which is about an hour's ferry from the main Island. We spent the first night at First Landings Resort, just across the road from the Hotel (part of the package deal) and the rest t Plantation island Resort (Malolo Lailai).

It seems to have been there for quite a while but there is lots of new construction and things that have obviously just been nuilt - new 'bure's and new pools... fantastic...

btw - I am trying to get the pics sorted to post somoe here for you all... I'm a bit slow at figuring it all out!

Am sitting here jealous, not only because it is thunder and lightning outside, but also because I'm heading to Surfers next month, and it's winter !!!! (me miss the sun)
