Tonight, after re-activating the NNTP gateway, NZB sent the entire contents of the nz.general Forum back to the nz.general Newsgroup..because since upgrading to 3.0.2, the database lost the info that tells it which of those posts was from the Newsgroup.

Apparently this was some 1400 threads, and has quite obviously pissed a lot of people off.

I don't know of any way to have these posts removed, but I have emailed a couple of people in an attempt to do so.

I am effectively guilty of spamming there, and I am really really sorry.

The NNTP gateway has now been disabled.

If you find the swearing in the thread title offensive, you can go to your Options in your Control Panel and enable board-wide censoring.

Hmmm, interesting.

I have my settings at "no censorship" and the header spells fucked up outright, but when people post to it and it says "re" then it comes up with f***ed up.

The Re: bit is still showing up "f***ed" but when I type fuck it shows up as fuck - with no censorship at all.

Looks like the censorship applied to the title of the posts sticks...but the rest of it, including the Thread Title should be reversible if you change your options.
