I'm moving to New Zealand from the USA early next year and was wondering how New Zealanders view Americans living there. Also, what are some of the quiet rural areas you suggest that I could look into that are not too costly? Thanks! T="Comic Sans MS"][/font]

I think us Kiwis have a pretty good appreciation of Americans living here. Pretty much every town in New Zealand has it's quiet rural area. Here in Manawatu, I live in Feilding, very quiet, not too rural and quiet cheap too live.
