Looking to go fishing in Wellington area and want to know what is the best to buy...on a budget so probably will need to by this in The Warehouse. I understand the fishing is more than likely sea fishing, with somesort of thingy to hold the line in the sand...after that I'm kinda stuck :-)

I've only ever been fishing on a boat, so I can't help you sorry.

Are you going with someone experienced? Ask them. Otherwise I would go into a sports shop like Stirling sports or somewhere that have people that know what they are talking about, talk to them, find out what you need, then go to the warehouse and buy it

Otherwise I'd try the library and finding a book on it.

I hear the best way to catch a fish from the beach is to use a kontiki, which is nearly a boat anyway.
