Earthquake down south

Discuss Earthquake down south in the General Discussion forums; It was 7.2 on the richter scale. Thats pretty big, I think the biggest I have felt was a 5.something ...

Default Earthquake down south
It was 7.2 on the richter scale. Thats pretty big, I think the biggest I have felt was a 5.something in Wellington.

ummm NO! I'm talking Earthquakes... you know those things that noone can control and someone built NZ on a fault line.

Ah yes I felt this quake this morning. It was around 9:30am. From dunedin it was a small rumble, barely noticable.

Noone I have spoken to yet felt it too, so I feel like a freak

Though the announcement on the news has allowed me to say "I was right!!!".

haha noone felt it? I spose if you were moving and stuff like that at the time, in a car or something your don't notice it. I love earthquakes, its like a wee bit of a wake up call that it doesn't matter whatever is going on in the world, nature will ALWAYS win.

A bit like a rip in the water...

Heh well it was only a small rumble here in dunedin... Barely noticable. I'm not surprised that noone else felt it.
