Default Dumb Suppliers

So i discussed all the different options with them, and we come to the conclusion about what I want, I order 7 IPAQ's and 7 GPS units to go with it, I get told they will install and test the GPS units as part of their "something a rather care plan" and I'm like cool.

SO today I get 2 big boxes of stuff and think Yippeee... get all excited little a computer geek does AND open it to find out they have sent me 14 IPAQ's wtf would I want 14 for, no GPS units AND they haven't been opened to have anything installed on them.

14 iPAQs

I have to make do with just the one.

I call it my tricorder.

Can you guess why?

Oh cool...thats all right up my alley...stuff I do in my job too We are going to use the NAVMAN GPS bluetooth units.

We have companies here in NZ that designed this...Its pretty similar to would you use there. ITs called IKE. I've had a bit of a play, I thought it was a bit big and heavy, but as with all things, as technology increases, the smaller they get.

Anyway, I think what I cobbled together out of parts looks a damn sight sexier than that angular orange thing.

and it feels good in the hand too.

I'm still talking about the iPAQ, honest
