Perhaps try Archimedes.

Pythagorus' theorum is 'the length of the longest side of a right angled triangle is equal to the root of the sum of the squares of the opposite sides.'

Of course, I wouldn't actually expect Quinny and McBeth to know that...

I think its a commentator thing. I remember Keith Quinn saying something stupid about a boomerang in the opening of the Sydney olympics. I have seen these quotes before, they are from murray mexted (the whole flatline coment made me think of them)during his commentating of rugby games. (BTW I've seen longers lists before)

Since its not really related and they are kinda rude, I've posted them in the jokes forum.
