I was reading the herald today and saw an article about the people that live next door to where the cruise ship parks itself when it visits.

This is a quote from the hilton hotel that was in the article.

But guests received notes to remind them there was a ship outside the window and to put on a bathrobe before opening the curtains.

When the Hilton first opened I went for a tour ... I opened the curtains and outside was a big cruise ship with the windows staring straight into the hotel. I didn't think I'd want to put clients in the Hilton as I can't think of anything worse than a cruiseship full of people being able to stare into my room if I happened to leave the curtains open. yech.
