Discuss Congratulations to me!!! in the General Discussion forums; Have just been officially advised I am now a Certified Dive Instructor.... Yippeee... anyone wanna learn?...

Am not going tobe teaching anywhere at this stage.
Have to decide if i want to teach in NZ or Aussie then will take it from there

A friend of mine went and taught over at Great Barrier Reef ... he loved it, unfortunately one day he got the Bends (sp?) and so after that he went back to doing what he was doing before ... being a firefighter ...

I imagine it would be something that can be quite flexible around other commitments.

I have always thought it would be rather cool to learn to dive but I am not very confident in water.
I am slowly working on that tho so maybe one day.

Is a good way to increase your confidence. My son isnt that comfortable in the water and since I have started teaching him to snorkel with a wet suit hes betting better. as soon as I can afford A BCD for him i will teach him to dive
