My mum just wrote off a £1,000 debt and called it a Christmas present.

Without going into too much detail, I had the last repayment of a loan in cash ready to hand to my mother and she said to keep it and consider it a Christmas present.

I also happen to know I'm getting £400 to £500 worth of branding-free upgrades from my parents too so you're looking at one :happybunny:

That Grand is going straight into my server fund.
Either two months off the projected time scale or one hefty upgrade.
I haven't decided yet.

Thats real nice of your parents Darkles.

I wish mine were as nice, My Mum always goes on about how she wanted to pay me back for my fees that I paid for tech, as she couldn't afford to pay at the time. But she never does, but then again I don't think I would want her too, as the way she works, she'd just hold it over me and all I would hear everytime something didn't go her way "I did pay your fees".

Anyway thats pretty cool for me... *waits for the BIG ass Christmas Present to arrive*

That's a wicked present. My Dad gave me $500 once but then he had promised to pay for my Tech tuition and didn't give me a dime so he kinda owed me anyway.

Here's a little update.

I had negotiated a 10% discount on PP, RP, and classifieds branding free upgrades for purchasing all three at the same time.
But there is now a sale on and the prices have been slashed by 60%

That meant that either my parents could get me what the were going to get anyway and save some money or get something else to make up the difference.

Being the all round great mum that she is, my mum got me something else.

Another half a gig of RAM for my lap top is due to arrive in time for Christmas.
