Default Cat owners - a question

What sort of tinned cat food does your cat like to eat?

My cat likes most of the Whiskas range although hates the mince and casserole ones. Her favourite is Salmon & Chicken. She also likes the gourmet range (ocean fresh tuna is her favourite).

I decided to treat her and bought some Fancy Feast .... 1 very small tin costs about 90 cents and only has enough for one meal. I thought she'd love Roast Chicken flavour because she loves chicken. She took a small bite of it and turned up her nose, stalked out of the kitchen and plonked herself in front of the heater.

I'll stick to the cheaper brands from now on!

My cat is a junk food addict. She wont eat tinned cat food. When she was my fathers cat he took her to the vet about it, and the vet said she was very heathly and even though she was a junk food addict it didn't matter. Dad used to try mixing biscuits and meat together but she wasn't tricked by that.

Now days if I have some premiuim beef mince (just plain old beef mince wont do) she will munch it up in no time, so I always put some aside for her if I am cooking with mince.

My cat LOVES fresh meat. She goes absolutely nuts on it. She usually gets fresh meat every night for dinner so is a bit spoilt really.

Her dried biscuit of choice is Go Cat - the one with the cheese in it. She likes picking the cheesy bits out and leaving the rest in the bowl.

What sort of junk food does she eat Penny? Muss loves potato chips.

My cat is so unspoilt. She gets Whiskas cat biscuits. (thats what they are referring to cat food) and she gets fresh meat if I am having it, or fresh fish if I am having it she gets some.

Otherwise she is kicked outside at night and when we are not home. She gets loads of attention (now) when I am there. Bascially becuase I was sitting there with her one day and noticed this big cut and area of fur missing, and I was worried. When I mentioned it to Daniel he told me it had been there for ages.

Our cat gets kicked out of the main part of the house. She stays in the kitchen overnight but there is a comfy chair in there for her to sleep on. We have a cat door so she can come and go as she pleases. We used to let her roam the house at night but one morning I woke up and found that she had peed on the couch (too lazy and cold to go outside) and another morning she'd done a steaming dump in the bath so now she has to stay in the kitchen.

I dont know what it is with the Whiskas casserole but my previous cat (dam speedsters on the neighbours driveway ) would only lick it and the current stray will only eat it if he is really really hungry.

As for the fresh meat... try keeping the stray away

90 buks??

Surely a misprint

Whiskas is the leading cat food brand in NZ.
And also contains meats that are edible by humans, if you so desire.
Nothing wrong with a bit of fresh beef liver, lung, chicken mince, and whole fish is there??
And ith taurine in the blend its gotta be good for you.

Yes, I once made this stuff. Not as bad as what it may sound either

I don't know of any cats that like the casserole stuff. My cat always just licked the gravy and ignored the meat. There must be people buying it though otherwise they wouldn't still be selling it.
