I heard thisa on 91 Zm today.

Apprently this guy is going to go round and walk NZ knocking on doors asking for money until he makes 1 milion dollars.

Not for a charity or for anything else, just fo himself.

This is what I heard anyway. So would you give him money if he knocks on your door? even just $1?

I am not sure I would, it would depend what mood I am in.

I had this buy in Sydney offer to carry my bag for me for $1, as I was trundling around Sydney with my Suitcase trying to find my brothers work, the offer was rather tempting I must say, commonsense saw the better of me though.

Apprently he lost out a bit in the recievership thing of the Carich training centres, and then just has had secruity work at a bar, and I believe he is trying to get 1 mill just by asking.

Yeah it was a bit like that, it was more like he was begging and thought I needed a hand... But anyway my bag has wheels!

I lost out when Ansett went into receivership but I just went out and got another job. I don't mind giving to charities but I don't consider a bro who's lost his job a charity. He should earn the money like everyone else.

Sounds to me like hes going to drink his way around the country. Free, then with his million dollars hes going to have to pay for his rehab treatment.

Do you think out of the money he is collecting he is going to have to pay for his petrol and stuff? or thats coming from somewhere else?

It seems to have taken on a bit of a life of its own. He has a regular spot on the radio, I missed it today, wasn't in the car long enough. But the guy sounds silly to me!
