| There goes the black-is-no-longer-fashionable-in-appliances timer! See you again in 6 years, black! That also goes for silver, white and bright translucent colours. So it seems Apple and everyone else has thoroughly worn out all the 'new' glitzy options, and we're rapidly approaching the retro 90s. You remember: 90210, raggedy-ann colours and dress sense, oversized bakers caps on chicks. *shudder* My vote for Appliance Surface That Will Dominate 2005 is matte colour-shifting with a roughish texture. Already several computer manufacturers have tried to patent the idea of being able to customise the exterior colour and patterns of your case with software. We'll probably see default schemes of reddy-pink and cyany-blue tie-dyed together. The horror. Anyone else want to insightfully resurrect something s***ty from the 90s that will be a big hit and a breath of recycled fresh air? | ||||

| everything goes in a circle.... in a few years the things that we say "oh its the 60's coming back" people will be saying "oh thats like from 2004" to the young people its new! | ||||

| Psychedelic colours will come back .... neon green & orange swirls. Remember the Kozmik range of clothing? It was all nastily bright colours. That's what I think will happen. They will want to kill our eyes - it will all be run by the sunglasses manufacturers. ![]() | ||||

| I think glossy cream will also be back in for cars too. Fuck this china-white shit, too sterile. Hoping with fingers crossed anyway. | ||||

| I am old enough to remember 3d the first time around. Now it is (was recently) a pop craze. | ||||
