Default Best way to worry your Boss

Turn up to work in a skirt and tell him you can't stay for the meeting he wants you to cos you have to rush off home after work!

I found that telling them that I was called for jury service lasting the 3 weeks before my month off in the UK worked a treat. Evidently I'm indispensible!

Come to work in a suit.

We work in a casual office (jeans day here every day) and if anybody wears a suit most people assume they're off to an inteview!

Yeah we are really casual here, they tried to phase out the jeans but people still wear them. I came to work in a skirt and thats what my boss reckons... he can think that!

I've found that suggesting that I might start restricting them to my job description works a treat. And its not that you would have been indispensable (or though of course you are) Ironic, the office just would have felt empty, and I might have had to deal with people! Oh the humanity
