It's probably due to the amount of traffic using the network today because of the big game on. Not only are more people using their mobiles, but a lot of advertising (spam I guess you'd call it) will be sent out today as well.

I tried to send a text message and it worked fine so it must only be affecting some areas.

Mine have been sending, but a couple never made it, and last night they took ages to get through.

I wonder where all the text messages go that never get delivered? :IDunno:

A couple of years back when I was still with our equivilant of vodafone called vodacom I sent a text message on Christmas Eve to a friend. It was returned to me...2 years later.

Now that was an odd experience.

That is odd. I have had instances whereby I've sent a text to a flatmate and they haven't received it until the next day but that was when I was on Telecom (ugh, makes me sick just to type it) and they were with Vodafone.

The texts I think just disappear off into no-mans-land. Either that or the Technology staff have decided to re-route a few through to themselves just for their own enjoyment (did I say that?)

Do you really expect us to believe that all texts aren't scanned and pattern matched for key sequences and anything interesting either diverted or copied to a techie's account?

lol Sparkle, I dunno why, I think it must be something about me that they don't like. Ah well who cares, I'll just wait until tomorrow to sort it out. I can still ring people so maybe I'll just have to talk to them in person rather than text! hahaha fancy that!
