Our email server just fell over.

I can't get any email at work.

Which basically means I can't work.

Should I go home or wait and see if it comes back online?

I guess now would be a good time to do some filing.

It's scary how dependent on email we become in our job.

Send out snailmails to all your clients indicating email is down. The downtime will seem short compared to how the antique postal system works.

We're back up and running now ... phew

I was attacked by the video conference microphone cord and now have a large amount of skin missing from my left hand ... it stings real bad! I tripped over the cord - quite a major H&S issue really ... the cord shouldn't just be lying there ... I had an armful of stuff so didn't notice it ... and have now had to fill in an incident report.

But if you had taken responsibility for your own actions while walking then you wouldn't have tripped over the lead *inserts tongue into cheek*

On a more serious note, I hope the skin is healing up and it doesn't hurt as much.
