| I was just watching the news about a young guy from Pennsylvania who was in Iraq helping build communication towers. Heres an article about it: http://www.brudirect.com/DailyInfo/N...30504/wn01.htm He was taken prisoner and ended up being beheaded. He was there to help rebuild the country and he lost his life because of it. Just a truly horrific story. Stories like this put the problems in my life into perspective. I am truly grateful I have no family members or friends over there and I hope for the safe return for the many who are over there. Sorry to share such a terrible story, but hopefully you'll have a new sense of appreciation for the loved ones in your life. | |||

| It's been all over the news in NZ as well. Awful stuff. Seems to be tit for tat over there at the moment and one wonders when it will stop, if ever. Apparently the pics of the beheading are on the internet but you'd have to be sick to want to see them. | ||||

| I am sorry for his beheading. I cannot imagine the grief of the family for their son. Also I cannot imagine the grief of any family for the death of their children in this needless slaughter. Peace | ||||
