Question The answer to drink driving...

I have often sat and pondered how to lower the numbers of drink drivers. It seems to me the answer is very simple. REMOVE THE CAR PARKS at the pubs and replace them with Dial A Driver, Taxi and Bus stands. Surely if there is no car park people will have to find alternative ways to get the the pub.
What do you think?

I was thinking this just the other day actually...the presence of car parks at pubs only serves to encourage people to drive there.

One idea that I really like is the Immobiliser that won't let your car even start till you have blown into the thing that tests for alcohol levels.

If you are pished, engine no workee.

What about all patrons who DO drive to the pub have to hand in their keys and not get them back until after a breatherliser (s) test... if you are over... no keys

The breathalizer thing attached to the car is probably the best bet ... some people might hide spare keys in or around their car. It's amazing what drunks will do to get behind the wheel, however if the car wont' start unless their under the limit then there's nothing they can do.

What about those people who don't drink who also go to the pub?
