Default Kitchen Utensils

What is the one kitchen utensil that you just couldn't live without?

Right now I'm thinking that for me it would be my George Foreman grill.

That, and the 2/3 size plastic Eggflip. That thing rocks. Shorter than the normal ones, but more rigid.

Another really great kitchen item I have encountered recently are those Microwave oven cleaner wipes. You put them in the microwave without opening the package and nuke it. It pops open while you are nuking it then you leave it sit for a few minutes, pull out the wipe and wipe off the yuck from your microwave.

Now granted the last time I did this my microwave was SOOOOO nasty it took a double dose of these to clean it, but in the end my microwave is clean again.

The humble kettle.

My family all say I make the best tea / coffee.

Probably just so I'll do it instead of them.

Sounds like a brilliant invention.

I wonder if it's managed to make it's way to NZ shores yet.
