You may not know that this was an ad filmed in NZ by NZ children. Now try being one of those children or one of their parents, then try to have a laugh. These children are now subject to the bullying and teasing we try very hard to protect each child from every day. How do I know, my child is in the ad and now affected by this spoof!. Did anyone ask permission to use my child's image?, no they did not! There are laws that are supposed to protect my child from this, are they going to pay?, I pretty much doubt it, but now the hard work my child put into the original ad is now a mockery due to these idiots. But do all of you who find it all a big laugh think of the outcome, not at all according to what is written here!!!!!!!

Certainly not the 'fair use' or 'parody' laws that pertain to creating obvious satires of existing things.

I know for a fact that a few of those children are Telecom employees kids and the rest are actors. I'd say the kids are traumatised enough having Telecom workers as parents and child actors know what they're getting themselves in for. They get paid for it!

Can you buy "Sense of Humour"on here, cost maybe TeleCON should buy one, This add was on Susan woods show the other night (they di take out a couple of words); it is great and yes agree TeleCON need to get a life, actually isn't copy a form of flattery.

I totally agree. It's a satire. If it has any malice, it's certainly not directed at the kids in the ad...

It's being directed at Telecom, a massive company who for years has treated its customers as if it could do and charge anything.

Crap internet, crap service, high prices. Wheeeeeeee!
