One evening a drunk staggered out of a London pub & seeing a park across the road decided to go sit on the park bench.
He went over, sat down & saw heaps of ducks... deciding it would be a tasty feed, he grabbed one, wrung its neck & plucked its feathers.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw a Park Ranger coming towards him. He carefully placed the duck in the lake, tucked its head under its wing & hurried back to sit among its feathers.
"Have you just killed a duck?" demanded the Park Ranger.
The drunk looked indignant & replied, "Who me? no Sir. I'm just minding these feathers while that duck over there goes for a swim."
