Kall and I have found a new abode to live in so we are going from a two bedroom reasonably smallish flat to a 3 bedroom rather large house.

If anyone has some spare (decent) furniture we would happily take it off your hands for you.

Stuff needed: dining room table + chairs, lounge suite (we have one but it's a bit huckery), double/queen size bed (for the other spare room) ... etc etc etc

We can offer you our spare lounge suite but unfortunately this one is a bit huckery as well.
Will a coffee table do for a dinning table and then eat asian style sitting on the floor?

We do have a little dining table (but only 2 chairs) - it's really an outdoor table. There's a couple of nice looking cheapies on trademe so I've bid on them.

Can you send through pics of your lounge suite? That would be grand

A few months ago I picked up over three grand worth of furniture from a Farmers stock clearance warehouse for $550. Two matching couches and a dining room table basically. The warehouse opens up and closes down seemingly at random - but you can call Farmers to find out if they have anything they need to shift.

They have some extremely nice stuff there. I saw things like a leather three-seater reclining couch for $600.

Some of it was damaged, but most of it was either excess or missing pieces like chairs or corner-pieces of suites because they'd been raided for warranty replacements.

Cool .. thanks for that Nih ... I've actually seen some stuff on Trademe I quite like but of course free stuff is always better (and cheaper obviously!)
