| I just got my Battlefield2 CD back after some time..*looks at NyQuil* .. anyway, after downloading the 180Meg patch, which took 4 hours, I have been playing it quite a bit. ..and now my back hurts. I think it could be due to the positioning of my body when slaughtering japs/krauts/charlies/amerikans..but I don't notice any difference when playing. ![]() | ||||

| 4 hours?! Check out Wired Country wireless. Penny is also a strong proponent of their services. I went with Iconz/Ezysurf and got 20gb, 2mbit and a static IP for $110 a month, with a $70 setup fee. Their latency is awesome, far better than ADSL for online gaming. All you need is to be able to see the large black band on the sky tower. Anyway, I got back into Counter Strike a couple of weeks back for the first time in years. Man, the community has changed! Some guy was all like trying to get us to play as a team so naturally I advised a generic close relative of his to suck the pole of someone present until she developed throat calluses. He got all offended. Nothing like the CS of the old days where he would have called my bluff and given me his mothers phone number. Wusses. | ||||

| Yeah go Wired country... just make sure you fill in the refeerer form and send it in, cos I get $$ for it lol. But actaully its good to hear you like it, I now know more people that are happy with the service than are not. Which I am picking is a good thing. The people that like are are the computer geeks, the others are just idiots that don't understand. | ||||

| I was remote-desktop-ing into work (2mbit frame relay) from home (wireless) and effortlessly doing stuff. I sort of forgot I was connected and started browsing the web through the remote terminal. To me that's the ultimate high-bandwidth use. | ||||
