Seems the Mr Richard Hatch, the winner of the original Survivor series, thought he could get away with not declaring his income from the game.

Also, he failed to declare the $300,000 he was paid by a radio station to present a show on Survivor, and other monies he received.

He must have thought that nobody in the Tax Department watched TV.

He has plead guilty to the charges of Tax Evasion and faces a possible 10-year prison sentence.
