Well, it's getting bloody late, so after completely buggering up the Arcade, and then restoring it to almost 100% functionality (you can't tell why, but the links don't work. It is cos they cost more points than you have. I will look into this tomorrow...when I can type the word 'tomorrow' in one go, not 5, as it took just then.)

Oh, do you mean the allow users to cheat hack?

It's not cheating. I use high resolution settings on my desktop and laptop, and the default game sizes are ridiculously small for me... In fact, I'd say it's cheating *not* to have this hack - at least it levels the playing field...

Dragging down the performance of the game to increase your reaction ability in not necessarily leveling the playing field.

Someone with a shitty comp can use this to their advantage over a serious gamer's rig.

Ah, but the difference is in the computers. If you give both players the option to set the resolution to suit their needs you're not giving one an advantage over the other IMO...

So reducing a resolution, which may give user an advantage but doesnt allow a user to play a game in a manner that ISNT the game designers intention, is a cheat???

and using an advantage that DOES allow the user to play the game in a manner that isnt the game designers intention is called a tip or a trick e.g Pop-Up Killer.
There is a bug in this game at the time of writing this tip.

Actually, that's increasing resolution that degrades performance.

Cases such as popup killer are bugs and sloppy coding.
The designers really didn't think the controls through properly.

Technically, neither are cheats
