We just watched the japanese Grudge in preparation for SMG's storyline-reaming hack job.

Jesus christ on a stick that's scary.

I've seen all three Rings and Dark Rain, but The Grudge is by far the scariest.

Another feature of all the films by that director are the terrifying monsters all make sounds you can make at home on your own. Endless after-movie fun there.
