I bought the lovely Sparklechick a Mahjong set for christmas but we don't really know the rules...and the rules that came with it seem to trail off into a recipe for Sezchuan Chicken halfway through..

I loved playing it when I was younger.

All I can remember is that you have to build the wall and make sure the demons cant get out by ensuring the walls are touching...it involves making sets and you say 'pung'.

I've had Kyodai Mahjongg installed for a few years.. it has several different games.. It's not too bad

hehe Yeah this has that on it as well, and you can design your own layout for the tiles.. too confusing for me

I love Mahjong.

As Kall said I've had it for 4 months now and still haven't worked out how to play it. I really must make an effort some time coz I love playing it on the computer.

Mahjongg is game of patience, yea bit hard on the eyes, but this is the best site for
the game because of the different screen sizes you can get. i enjoy agood game

It's all about practice.

I had a girlfriend who was proud of being able to complete a board within 30-40 seconds. I tried damn hard to catch up and came pretty close, I think 40-50 was my best. Sadly I can't do it anymore - that sort of play needs complete vision.

Try it. You'd be surprised at the things you can do that really only rely on practice and an understanding of the scoring. The biggest hint is if you make a mistake or take too long, ditch the board and start over.
