If you prefer to hang with them than adults then I completely understand, kids are much more fun to hang around with.

I think what is most important is that you do what makes YOU happy.

If you are having fun and happy with it then that is your choice. By choice I hang around with 7 - 10 year olds, I am a brownie leader. I love taking them, I love spending time with my nieces, I think I like helping them all out and passes on my wisdon to them

Jenni.... you may have disabilities and yea I dont know what they are.. But as a mother of a nine year old child I have REAL major!!! issues with a 22 year old having a friendship with a MINOR.

Now dont for a minute think that i am suggesting that you have behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner with this child but your friendship as a pubescent teenager with a minor sends my whole body off on warning signals.... so sorry penny and sparkle who i mostly agree with... but i have to say this friendship is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am not like that at all. i try to have friends my own age but they don't understand me. have you ever tried to have friends your own age that don't understand you? if you did then you would understand what it is like. i am not like micheal jackson so you can stop comparing me to that ass hole. by the way do you hate me or something? private message me if you do and tell me why you hate me.

Opti - I would agree with you if Jeni was just a 22 year old. But without trying to segregate her, becuase there is no need to do that. Just remember that actaul age, and mental age are to completley different things. Therefore she relates better to younger people.

Her visits with her friends would be no different to if your son had someone over to play, and certainly wouldn't be unsupervised.

thank you sparkle at least you understand me. and yes the parents know and they think it is great b/c now their daughter has someone to hang around with when they are not home so i am kind of like a babysitter too.

I'm not sure if that's such a good idea. No offence to you Jeni but do you feel comfortable being in charge of someone else .... you do have a lot of disabilities, do you feel that you could handle it if something bad happened while you were babysitting?

i am quit capable of babysitting kids b/c i babysit twins that are 7 years old and as long as i have phone numbers posted or i can call my mom its all good. my mom is home when i am babysitting my friend b/c she lives two houses away from me. sparkle are you now starting to doubt me?

I'm not doubting you Jeni but you have told me about all your disabilities and I was just concerned when I heard you are babysitting. I have done some babysitting myself and it's not an easy thing to do sometimes even when you're not disabled.
