Well Big G did do us all a favor by removing a well known human rights violator from the picture. So let's be thankful for that, even though we know that his reasons for entering the country and declaring war on it, was not exactly a legitimate reason.

However, and take note, his attack on Afghanistan was primarily, and I can't stress this enough, just a flouse to try and get Osama Bin Laden. He discovered that the government was an oppresive one and used that as a gimmick to try and gain favor from the American people and possibly even the world. So, I think Bush, in all his relentless killing campaigns, did it all purely out of feral instinct. Swinging the sword while blinded, so to say.
